(This review may contain spoilers).
I haven’t seen the previous film (although the website of the cinema I tend to go on said it was the first one showing), but I still found this film really easy to follow.
I felt that this film was a real feel-good one. It was nice to see the dolphins in the film and there were some really sad moments in the film, too. I really liked Sawyer as a character – by the end, I felt that he and Hazel should end up with each other.
I felt that the atmosphere in this film was really good as well. There was a nice variety of characters involved and I especially liked the pelican, Rufus. I liked the different types of animals there were in the film and I felt there were a lot of sweet moments that really made the film a good one to watch.
I recognised some of the actors in the film, but I liked all of them. It was also nice that none of the characters were really ‘bad’ people.
I really enjoyed watching this film and I felt it was really interesting to see the scenes at the end. It was nice to see the videos of the real centre and the dolphins there, as well as people who have visited the place. And I was left with a really good feeling at the end of the film. I’d probably watch this one again at some point in the future… and also watch the first Dolphin Tale film as well.
