I think I did like this book a bit more than the first one. The action started a bit faster and it was good to see characters from the first book, as well as new ones.
I was quite intrigued by Fleet and the other characters’ reactions to him. I’m not sure exactly what I thought of him personally, but I would like to see more of him and learn a bit more about his relationship with his brother.
It was really good to see Infiniti and Trent again and it was really interesting to learn more about how they were involved, in particular Infiniti – though I was left with some questions.
I also liked Dominique’s and Farrell’s relationship more in this book. There was something really sweet about it – and I particularly liked the glimpse of their past relationship.
I found that a lot of the book was quite tense and contained enough action and mystery to keep me avidly reading. This was really well-written and although it didn’t end the way I hoped, I’ve found myself more and more invested in the series. I’m definitely going to read the next book at some stage.
