This is another film I saw quite a while ago and watched recently because it was on television.
This was a really entertaining comedy to watch. I really liked the contrasts between the two different relationships, as well as the comedy that came from the pranks the two played on each other.
Weddings seem to be a stressful time for all involved and I felt that this came across really well in this film. I felt sorry for both of the brides-to-be at times, but ended up rolling my eyes at others. Some of the things were mean-spirited, while others were just amusing.
Both of the main actresses in this did really well with their characters. I could believe in the way their relationship progressed and it was really nice there were some more serious moments later on.
I did also like the use of stills to show the progression of scenes and the use of narration from one of the secondary characters. I felt both styles worked quite well.
The ending of the film was good as well. If there was a sequel to this, I think it’s one I would want to see.
